Craniosacral Therapy, or Dynamic Body Balance, is a precise and gentle hands-on technique that works with the body's own intelligence to help release held tension and support a deeper state of calm and balance.

You've been "on" for years. Your fascia and nervous system have been holding that pace right along with you.

Dynamic Body Balancing combines craniosacral therapy (you may also see it called cranial sacral therapy), myofascial unwinding, and biofield therapy into one hands-on session. The focus is on the fascia, the web of connective tissue that wraps every muscle, nerve, bone, and organ in your body.

Fascia responds to everything you've lived through: injuries, repetitive strain, long seasons of stress. Over time it can tighten into holding patterns that limit how you move and keep your nervous system in protection mode.

Using light touch and guided movement, we follow the body's lead as those restrictions release. Sessions are in person only at our Bloomington office.

What is Dynamic Body Balancing?

Explore the reset center

Velocity O2 training

We pair short bursts of cycling with oxygen-rich air to train your body to take in and use oxygen more efficiently. It’s a workout built for longevity.

AEIR CO2 flex suit

Our dry CO2 therapy helps open blood vessels and release more oxygen into your tissues, supporting recovery, restful sleep, and long-term cellular health.

BEMER vascular therapy

This FDA-cleared PEMF therapy supports microcirculation, the tiny vessels that carry oxygen and nutrients to every tissue. All you do is lie back and rest while we handle the rest.

Photon stress relief therapy

We use gentle ionized energy to support your body’s natural electrical balance, from cellular communication to lymphatic flow. Many clients leave feeling calmer and clearer.

One space to reset, no matter where you’re starting.

Cranial sacral work helps your nervous system come out of stress mode. Once your body feels safe, it’s ready to rebuild. That’s why we created the Biological Reset Center. It’s a space where we support circulation, oxygen delivery, and cellular energy, so whatever you’re working on has a stronger foundation underneath it.

What happens in a craniosacral therapy session

  1. Assess the craniosacral rhythm

With light touch, we read the rhythm of your craniosacral system: the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid surrounding your brain and spinal cord. This rhythm runs about 12 to 15 cycles per minute and shows me where things are moving well and where they aren't.

  2. Find the restrictions

We locate areas where fascia has tightened or the rhythm is out of balance. These often line up with where you hold physical or emotional tension.

  3. Support the unwind

Through gentle positioning, your body guides the release. We may work lying down, seated, standing, or in the position where an injury happened.

  4. Let it integrate

As restrictions release, your nervous system moves out of protection and toward rest and repair.

Sessions are deeply relaxing and quietly active. Your body may move in small, unexpected ways as it unwinds. Many clients feel warmth, tingling, or a sense of length in their tissue. Some notice emotions surface as long-held tension lets go. We always work at a pace that feels safe for your nervous system.

Session length: Your first session is about 45 minutes. Follow-ups run 15 to 45 minutes, depending on what your body needs.
